Natural Cure For Dengue Fever

What is Dengue Fever?

Dengue fever is an Infectious disease carried by Mosquitoes and caused by any of four related dengue viruses. This disease used to be called “break-bone” fever because it sometimes causes severe joint and muscle pain that feels like bones are breaking.

Cause: Dengue fever can be caused by any one of four types of dengue virus: DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3, and DEN-4.

Transmission: Dengue virus can be transmitted from the bite of an infected Aedes mosquito. Mosquitoes become infected when they bite infected humans, and can later transmit the infection to other people.

Species: Two main species of mosquito, Aedes aegypti, and Aedes albopictus have been responsible for cases of dengue transmission.

How To Keep Platelets Up During Dengue Fever (Natural Cure For Dengue Fever)

Platelets:  Platelets are tiny cells that circulate in the blood and take part in the clotting process (haemostasis). Dengue fever virus primarily influences the production system of platelets production. The platelet count for a normal person varies from 150,000 to 250,000 per unit volume. On getting infected, the patient platelet count starts declining.

Papaya Leaves: Papaya leaves have recently entered the Dengue treatment process arena due to their highly complex protein content and their ability to help the bone marrow increase the production of platelets. The leaves can be crushed and then strained with a cloth to drink the pure juice.

“In 2009, researchers at the Asian Institute of Science and Technology in Malaysia found that papaya leaf juice can Increase the platelet count of people diagnosed with dengue fever.”

Oranges: Oranges are rich in antioxidants and vitamins.

Role of Antioxidants:

They eliminate the free radicals/molecules in the blood which may be responsible for damaging tissues and also keep a low level of platelet count.

Role of Vitamin C:

Vitamin C, easily solved in water and absorbed by the body, helps immediately to restore platelet count. Orange juice helps to promote antibodies in the immune system, increases urination and the release of toxins, and stimulates cellular repair due to vitamin C’s crucial role in the creation of collagen.

Fish and Spinach: These both are Omega-3 Fatty acids rich food.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids:

Omega-3 fatty acid boosts the immune system and can naturally increase your platelet level count. Hence consuming them can help cope with the low platelet levels.
